Our approach to women’s healthcare is to manage problems as conservatively as possible by initially educating our patients. Next, we perform a thorough history and physical examination and then order the appropriate diagnostic testing when indicated. Treatment options are proposed and the patient makes the decision on her treatment approach with our guidance. If surgery is necessary, we attempt to be as minimally invasive as possible. Most of our gynecologic surgery is performed laparoscopically, which includes laparoscopic supracervical hysterectomies, laparoscopic-assisted vaginal hysterectomies, treatment of endometriosis, ovarian cystectomies, and treatment of ectopic pregnancies.
